Bee Original

August 11, 2020

“Bee Original” …what does that mean to you?!  Are you a trailblazer who isn’t afraid to try something new, exciting, and innovative?  Are you strongly rooted in your values and beliefs, and don’t waver from your core even when the majority starts to change their views or lean another way?  Do you walk to the beat of your own drum?  Being original can be hard at times…when we look, act, believe, or behave differently from the mainstream, people can be mean and try to conform us to think like them….but I’m here today to encourage you to DO YOU!  Be the YOU you were meant to be.

I know at times it can be so hard to not get caught up in all of the trends, images, and people we see around us.  Our insecurities can sneak in and make us lose a piece of our originality.  Today I am here to support you in being YOU!  “Bee Original!”  (sorry/not sorry for the pun…that’s my humor!)  The “bee” part is personal to me… I LOVE flowers, watching pollinators, helping our earth, and making it beautiful!  I am the plant nerd that literally gets giddy when our flowers and plants start arriving at the garden center in the spring.  As for being “original”…I am the silly girl singing in her truck at the stoplight while the music is blaring.  I am the first and last one on a dance floor…making a fool of myself and helping others live their best lives too!  Today, I encourage YOU to go left when others go right; be confident in who you are and what you like, so you can live your uniquely original self OUT LOUD!

XOXO

Watering Tips

  • Our watering advice is based on plants living in a 72 degree house. Porch life or humidity could have an impact on its watering needs.
  • Always use tepid water for watering your houseplants.
  • Broadleaf plants need less water in fall and winter, but you should never allow the soil to completely dry out.
